Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Security Engineer to deliver integrated physical security across project lifecycles for critical assets in the UK. The role involves security design, development, integration, delivery and in-service support, ensuring compliance with security standards and client requirements.

You will conduct risk assessments and security reviews, coordinate with stakeholders and authorities, and contribute to the creation of secure infrastructure and protection plans across complex

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent with strong physical security background.
• Knowledge of security principles and incident management exercises (JESIP).
• Experience coordinating security projects in complex environments with safety and security focus.
• Background in CNI security, including hostile vehicle mitigation and asset protection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver integrated physical security across design, development, integration, delivery and in-service support.
• Develop security standards and policy per client requirements and best practice.
• Conduct security reviews, audits, and support accreditation with authorities.
• Engage stakeholders including emergency services and run working groups.
