Job summary

SSA Digital Recruitment is seeking a Senior PHP/Laravel developer to enhance our SaaS platform. The role focuses on hands-on PHP/Laravel work, building and integrating REST APIs, and ensuring robust database interactions with MySQL.

Ideal candidates will have strong PHP/Laravel experience, and familiarity with Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and SaaS deployments. Remote-friendly with onsite requirements in Northampton, UK, for a contract of three months.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on PHP and Laravel development experience.
• Proficient with MySQL, REST APIs, PHPUnit, and Git/GitHub.
• UK-based contractor; immediate start preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve backend services and product functionality for our SaaS platform.
• Carry out hands-on PHP and Laravel development.
• Build and integrate REST APIs.
• Work with MySQL and relational databases.
• Improve performance, scalability, and the application.
• Write automated tests with PHPUnit.
• Contribute to Vue.js and TypeScript development where required.
• Work within an AWS, Docker, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD environment.
