Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to provide high-quality, error-free services across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have extensive phlebotomy experience, strong customer focus, and exceptional communication skills. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to manage various priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service setting preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced phlebotomy procedures across assigned locations.
  • Provide exceptional service to patients and internal partners.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Support multiple sites based on staffing needs.
  • Maintain high accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to work based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Commitment to company policies, dress code, health & safety, and professional guidelines.
  • Ability to make decisions using established procedures and sound judgment.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to cover multiple locations with minimal notice.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong customer focus and effective, transparent communication.
  • Ability to adapt to change and maintain knowledge of business operations.
Experience
