A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join its Integrated Pharmacy workforce. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside GPs and other healthcare professionals, supporting patient care in a dynamic team environment. Key responsibilities include optimizing medication use and supporting clinicians, with a salary ranging from £31,049 to £37,796 annually. The position is full-time and located in Wirral.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacy technician to join our Integrated Pharmacy workforce providing a service to our PCNs within Wallasey and Moreton and Meols. These PCNs are a group of 8 GP practices working together to provide joined up services to support their patients to live happier, healthier lives. You will join an experienced and dynamic team that includes GPs, Nurses, Health & Wellbeing Coaches, Care Coordinators, Social Prescribers & Physiotherapists to provide clinical pharmacy services to our local population.
The role will support the PCN clinical pharmacists to ensure the delivery of safe, effective systems for repeat prescribing, medicines optimisation, reducing medicines waste and maximising patient outcomes.
As part of the WUTH Integrated Pharmacy Service that supports a number of PCNs within Wirral, these roles are based within Wallasey Wellbeing and Moreton & Meols PCNs but may also support our other PCNs as required by service need. There are opportunities to work with colleagues from the other PCN teams in Wirral as well as having access to the Acute Trust specialists which helps you develop a better understand the full patient journey.
