Overview

Role: Senior Pharmacy Technician
Location: The Princess Grace Hospital, Central London
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday with contribution to weekend and bank holiday shifts on a rota basis
Contract Type: Fixed term to cover Maternity leave from December 2025-December 2026
Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience (with excellent benefits)

We’re looking for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at The Princess Grace Hospital currently rated “Good” by the CQC. The Princess Grace Hospital, part of the world-renowned HCA Healthcare UK, offers a range of specialist services including complex surgery, medical and intensive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, patient focused, operational pharmacy services which consistently meet the needs of all service users.
• Oversee all aspects of core pharmacy operations, including dispensary, medicines management, pharmacy procurement, stock control, medicines distribution and ward top-up and patient services.
• Involved in continuous service and professional development, audit and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Act as a key stakeholder for relevant Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs).
• Provide training, education and mentorship to specialist and junior technicians as well as assistants.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC
• Accredited Checking Technician (essential)
• Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy (essential)
