Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officers to join the Pharmacy services team based at Venture House in Erdington. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, with experience in Pharmacy services, and empathy for people with mental health problems.

Nursing inpatient and community dispensing experience is valued. Responsibilities include dispensing, stock control, ward top-ups, reception duties, and stores/procurement tasks,

Qualifications

Experience in Pharmacy services and a willingness to work across inpatient and community dispensing.
Excellent communication skills and empathy for people with mental health problems.
NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy services is required.

Responsibilities

Dispensing within inpatient and ward-based services.
Maintain stock levels in the Pharmacy.
Participate in ward top-up services.
Undertake general reception duties.
Undertake general stores and procurement tasks.
