A leading NHS hospital trust in London is seeking a dedicated Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join the Pharmacy Production Unit. The role involves preparing sterile medicines and maintaining rigorous standards of accuracy. Candidates must have a GCSE pass in English, Mathematics, and a Science subject, along with manual dexterity and good communication skills. This position offers a salary between £30,546 to £32,207 annually and requires regular Sunday and bank holiday work on a rota basis.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person to work in our busy Pharmacy Production Unit. You will be working as part of a team of pharmacists, technicians and assistants preparing sterile medicines, chemotherapy and antibiotic injections.
You must be reliable, hardworking and able to work to high standards of accuracy and precision. You will be expected to assist with stock control and be confident using a computer. Good communication skills, manual dexterity, and a pass (grade A‑C/9‑4 in GCSE or equivalent) in English, Mathematics, and a Science subject are essential.
There will be a commitment to regular Sunday and bank holiday working on a rota basis.
Previous experience is preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
