We are currently in the process of redeveloping the hospital to provide a new state‑of‑the‑art hospital for the residents of Hillingdon, and beyond, which supports the very best in delivery of healthcare and will be fit for our future. Job summary: Dispenses medicines to outpatients and inpatients.

  • Dispenses medicines to outpatients and inpatients.
  • Ensures good housekeeping in the dispensary by keeping benches and baskets clear of drugs no longer required.
  • Organises and maintains medicine supplies within the dispensary.
  • Resolution of stock issues according to departmental procedures.
  • Provide Pharmacy Dispensary support.
  • Deal with enquiries from patients and healthcare staff.
  • Undertakes related clerical duties.
  • Training & supervision.
  • Dispensing and patient counselling.
  • Provide a top up service of stock items to wards and departments where required.
  • Cover reception for outpatients and inpatients requiring use of digital systems.
  • Competent in the use of the automated dispensing equipment and resolves operational.
