Job summary

NHSGGC in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Advanced Pharmacist to join the Primary Care Pharmacy Team in Northeast Glasgow City HSCP on a 12-month fixed-term basis. As a senior member you will lead clinical pharmacy services, oversee junior staff and work with GPs, community pharmacists and multi-disciplinary teams to improve medicines management.

The post requires strong leadership, planning and IT skills, and the ability to influence practice change.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior pharmacist with leadership and management skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver clinical pharmacy services in primary care.
• Experience in collaborating with GPs and care home settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and line-manage band 7 and band 6 pharmacists in primary care.
• Plan operationally and develop services in line with priorities.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to improve medicines management.
