Job summary
Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior pharmacist to lead the delivery of high‑quality clinical pharmacy services and medicines optimisation across its network sites. You will oversee clinical and operational service delivery, monitor adherence to governance and legislation, and mentor network staff to ensure safe and cost‑effective medicine use.

Qualifications
- Pharmacy degree required.
- Pre-registration training completed.
- Certificate or Diploma in Pharmacy appropriate for role.
Responsibilities
- Lead on development and delivery of medicines optimisation across Moorfields network.
- Promote safe and cost‑effective prescribing and monitor adherence to guidelines.
- Oversee operations of network site pharmacies and staffing rosters.
- Investigate and manage medication incidents and patient complaints.
- Develop clinical and practical skills for pharmacy staff and provide training.
- Support CIP cost improvement initiatives and PbR management with the High‑Cost Medicine team.
