Senior Pensions Solicitor – 6‑Month FTC – Potential to Go Permanent

Location: Any UK office (London, Birmingham, Leeds or Manchester) or a full remote working arrangement.

A well‑known law firm, celebrated for its entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative culture, and commitment to excellence, is seeking a Senior Pensions Solicitor to join its thriving pensions team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract, with strong potential to convert to a permanent role. The firm’s culture is built on trust, autonomy, and shared success.

This is a strategic hire to support the continued growth of a high‑performing pensions team. The role is advisory‑led, with a strong emphasis on:

  • Advising trustees, employers, and scheme administrators on a wide range of pensions matters
  • Supporting corporate transactions with pensions due diligence and risk mitigation
  • Drafting and reviewing scheme documentation, governance frameworks, and regulatory submissions
  • Collaborating across employment, corporate, and tax teams to deliver seamless client service
Key Skills
  • A qualified solicitor with significant experience in pensions law (private and public sector schemes)
  • Strong technical and drafting skills, with the confidence to lead on complex matters
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and ability to work independently
