Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd seeks an experienced CHECK Team Leader to lead penetration testing engagements across defence and government environments, delivering infrastructure, web, API, cloud, OT testing and actionable remediation advice. You will plan, scope, and report, ensuring CHECK compliance and high-quality outcomes.

You will mentor junior staff, develop testing methodologies, and contribute to service offerings while engaging with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• CREST CHECK Team Leader (CTL) certification is required.
• Experience delivering penetration testing across infrastructure, apps, APIs, cloud, OT.
• Strong report writing for technical and executive audiences.
• Excellent client-facing consulting and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to plan, lead and assure testing engagements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver penetration testing engagements across multiple domains.
• Plan scope and rules of engagement with customers.
• Provide technical leadership and QA during engagements.
• Produce high-quality technical and executive reports.
• Support development of Leonardo's offensive security services.
• Mentor junior consultants and share knowledge.
• Research emerging threats and testing approaches.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
