Job summary

Wye Valley NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Children\'s Community Occupational Therapy team in Herefordshire. You will provide specialist assessment and treatment for children 0-18 years and their families, planning your own caseload and working in home, school or therapy settings.

Role includes autonomy in clinical decision-making and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Permanent, full-time position with Agenda for Change pay band 6.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification to degree level or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC Registration
• Post Graduate specialist qualification/significant post graduate experience

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise own caseload in community Herefordshire.
• Use standardised and non-standardised assessment tools in appropriate settings.
• Design individual therapeutic treatment plans and delegate to OT support workers, families or school staff.
• Work autonomously using specialist knowledge in complex situations.
