The company is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to work on mechanistic PBPK/PD models within Simcyp products, applying mathematical models and robust data analysis. You will liaise with developers and provide customer education and support, with exposure to clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related fields with several years of relevant practical experience.
• In-depth understanding and hands-on experience in modelling and simulation principles, statistical data analysis, parameter fitting and sensitivity analysis.
• Good working knowledge of modelling and simulation tools such as Matlab, R, Phoenix and Simcyp; familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Active involvement in R&D of PBPK/PD models within the Simcyp Simulators, analysing healthy and disease populations and clinical data.
• Prepare implementation documents and develop case studies; lead strategic projects as needed.
• Contribute to consultancy projects and assist with development of modelling modules for organs and tissues.
• Train to act as a tutor for Simcyp workshops and participate in client site visits and education.
• Test Simulators before and after release and disseminate research results through posters and publications.
