A prominent health organization in the UK is seeking a Senior Partnership Development Officer in Tooting to drive organ donor registrations through strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have expertise in partnership development and campaigns, and possess strong skills in relationship management and communication. This role offers flexible and hybrid working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and comprehensive benefits, contributing to a significant cause of improving lives through organ donations.
You will work directly with the Digital Organ Donor Register Team at NHSBT, collaborating closely with key partner contacts. Drawing on your existing knowledge, skills, and expertise, you will develop and manage national relationships aimed at driving a consistent and sustained increase in organ donor registrations. These efforts will contribute to raising the organ donation consent rate, ultimately helping to reduce the transplant waiting list.
In addition to supporting the department lead and key internal and external stakeholders across the NHS, you will be expected to work independently, using your initiative and discretion to shape the role and its impact.
This position will be instrumental in enhancing existing digital pathways across both public and private sector industries, and where necessary, creating new ones to influence behaviour change and improve consent rates for organ donation.
As part of the Communications and Engagement Directorate, you’ll engage with a wide range of audiences to drive performance. With a strong emphasis on capability building, you’ll have access to coaching and development opportunities from the department lead and wider team.
You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice.
Please view the attached recruitment profile which is a summary of the detailed Job Description and Person Specification for the full personal attributes we require for the role. You will need to demonstrate these throughout the recruitment process.
It takes all types of people to deliver the kind of service that saves and improves lives.
