Marsha de Cordova MP is seeking a highly capable Senior Parliamentary Assistant to join her Westminster team. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of Parliament supporting a long‑standing Labour MP with a strong record of advocating for her constituents and local businesses.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Marsha’s parliamentary work for Battersea as well as her responsibilities as Chair of the PPA and in her role as Second Church Estates Commissioner.
This is a senior position requiring sound political judgement, exceptional organisational skills and a detailed understanding of how Parliament operates. The postholder will ensure Marsha is fully briefed, strategically supported and represented effectively across her wide‑ranging portfolio of work.
Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
You must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years out of the last 5 years and be able to supply proof of your right to work in the UK.
