Overview

The role will be as Paraplanner, working in a business that is embracing change in order to deliver the best outcomes for clients. The business is using the recent lockdown to improve on all processes and communication methods so the ideal candidate will need to embrace change, be able to manage projects and have a clear vision of where the financial service industry needs to progress to.

Ideally, they have experience in Intelligent Office (or another back-office system), Financial Express / Analytics and Cash Calc (or another cash flow planning tool).

General responsibilities
  • Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the relevant FCA rules at all times
  • Comply with the relevant compliance, TCF, T&C and, financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud, and corruption) procedures of the firm at all times.
  • Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes, as required.
  • Follow appropriate ethical standards within the firm at all times.
  • Ensure all dealings with clients are carried out in a professional and courteous manner.
Specific responsibilities

These are the responsibilities in which you are the primary responsible person.

  • Preparation of reports for IFAs, including recommendation letters and sign up documents.
  • Assisting the Director with new and existing client meetings.
  • Working with the Director and leading special projects designed to improve the business.
  • Working with compliance to ensure that all processes are adhered to.
