Job summary

Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Paraplanner to join a whole of market financial planning firm in Altrincham, Cheshire. This full-time role pays £43,000 to £48,000, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with hybrid working up to four days a week from home.

The firm handles high net worth clients with a one-to-one paraplanner to adviser ratio and offers 5% pension, 25 holidays plus birthday off, full study support and a modern, relaxed environment.

Qualifications

• Paraplanning experience across pensions, investments and inheritance tax planning.
• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, or progress towards it.
• Confidence writing suitability reports without rewrites.
• Experience of pension transfers, trusts and retirement income cases.
• Organised approach to a varied caseload of complex cases.
• Knowledge of cashflow modelling tools such as Voyant.

Responsibilities

• Own complex suitability reports across pensions, investments and estate planning.
• Build bespoke portfolios through the firm’s investment sifting process and fund panel.
• Lead technical research and analysis behind adviser recommendations.
• Conduct cashflow modelling and projections in Voyant/Intelliflo Planning.
• Liaise with providers, investment managers and compliance to place advice.
• Work with multiple platforms including Aegon, Aviva, Quilter, Royal London and Fidelity.
