Job summary

Elevate Legal Talent is seeking a Senior Paralegal for a 3-month FTC to join their construction and procurement legal team in Leeds. The role focuses on supporting construction and commercial contract matters, reviewing and drafting contracts, and assisting with procurement activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience across construction, procurement and/or commercial contracts, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Senior Paralegal or experienced Paralegal.
• Background in construction, engineering, infrastructure, procurement or commercial contracts.
• Strong commercial contracts experience.
• Understanding of construction contracts and/or procurement processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support construction and commercial contract matters.
• Review, draft and manage contracts, amendments and related documentation.
• Support procurement activity, including tender and supplier documentation.
• Assist with contract reviews, risk identification and escalation.
• Manage contractual records, obligations and key dates.
• Provide day-to-day support to procurement, commercial and operational teams.
• Conduct legal and contractual research as required.
