Hywel Dda University Health Board invites applications for an Experienced Paediatric and Children’s Weight Management Dietitian. Qualifications

• HCPC registration and eligibility to practise.
• Specialist paediatric dietetics knowledge up to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent.
• Knowledge of evidence-based paediatric dietetic care.
• Clinical Supervisory Skills training completed.
• Knowledge of professional guidance and policy relevant to paediatric dietetics.
• Knowledge of quality improvement methodology in practice.
• Completed the BDA Paediatric modules, or equivalent training.

Responsabilités

• Deliver effective, evidence based weight management interventions to support delivery of the Healthy Weight Healthy Wales Strategy across the Health Board.
• Use specialist paediatric dietetic knowledge to assess, plan and implement treatment and deliver holistic dietetic and behavioural/lifestyle interventions.
• Support development of improved knowledge and skills of the Hywel Dda workforce in prevention and management of overweight and obesity.
• Participate in evaluation of weight management interventions by recording patient reported outcomes and experience measures.
• Support development and implementation of policy, guidance and standards within weight management and the wider dietetic service.
