Job summary

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Paediatric Sister/Charge Nurse for Sarum Ward to lead a dedicated paediatric team serving children and young people aged 0–16. The role is based on a 16-bed ward with Day Assessment Unit and regional Burns/Plastics links.

The post requires an experienced clinician with leadership skills, mentoring ability, and commitment to outstanding patient care within a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN Child registration with NMC.
• Nursing degree or diploma, evidence of working at senior level (band 6/7).
• Evidence of recent ongoing professional development; relevant post-registration qualifications in paediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead on clinical care and specific projects as delegated by Ward Lead.
• Deputise for Ward Lead in their absence.
• Promote Trust values within the team and provide role modelling of high standards.
