Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6) for Paediatrics. The role focuses on inpatients with feeding, swallowing and communication disorders, plus Neonatal MDT Outpatient Feeding Clinic responsibilities at St Mary’s and QCCH.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist SLT services and evidence-based care. The post requires paediatric dysphagia expertise, independent caseload management, and strong collaboration

Qualifikationen

• Specialist paediatric feeding, swallowing and communication skills.
• Experience with MDT collaboration in acute hospital settings.
• Ability to perform and interpret paediatric dysphagia assessments.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development.

Aufgaben

• Manage a caseload of paediatric inpatients with dysphagia and communication disorders.
• Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, intervention plans and discharge planning.
• Attend ward rounds and MDT meetings across sites.
• Develop and deliver auditing activities in the service.
• Maintain adherence to professional guidelines and ethical standards.
• Communicate complex information clearly to families and teams.
