Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Band 6 Community Paediatric Physiotherapist to autonomously manage a diverse caseload of children with complex needs. You will deliver specialist assessments and interventions, support junior staff and trainees, and contribute to high-quality, child-centred care.

You will provide supervision, training, and bidirectional learning within the Paediatric Therapy Team, liaising with schools, families and other professionals while maintaining HCPC standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• HCPC registration is required.
• Postgraduate training or equivalent experience relevant to paediatric/community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist, child-centred physiotherapy assessment and intervention for children with complex needs.
• Autonomously manage and prioritise a complex caseload.
• Interpret findings to set goals and develop individualised therapy programmes.
• Deliver therapy across home, community and education settings.
• Communicate complex information to children, parents/carers and professionals.
• Supervise Band 5–3 staff and provide student supervision.
• Plan and deliver staff training and present paediatric topics.
