The role involves managing complex paediatric cases and provides opportunities to enhance skills through rotations in various specialties. Birmingham Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides a wide range of children’s health services for Birmingham, the West Midlands and beyond. We are a nationally designated specialist centre for epilepsy and liver transplantation and a major trauma centre for the West Midlands. We also have one of the largest Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in the country with a dedicated Eating Disorder Unit.
We are seeking enthusiastic physiotherapists to join our friendly and motivated team. These posts are suitable for physiotherapists with broad based post‑graduate experience, paediatric experience preferred but not essential. We offer opportunities to consolidate your existing skills and extend your knowledge by working with our team of Advanced Physiotherapists and other MDT professionals in a variety of areas.
Rotations are currently 9 monthly and may include PICU, Neurosciences, Respiratory/CF, Musculoskeletal outpatients, Burns, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, Livers, Oncology, Community and Special Schools.
