Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Excellent experience in paediatric orthopaedic trauma, including poly-trauma.
• Experience of audit and clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of paediatric orthopaedic services.
• Undertake general and specialist consultant duties.
• Train and support junior medical staff.
• Participate in Clinical Network and Hub and Spoke model.

Skills

Experience in paediatric orthopaedic trauma

Ability to work in multi-professional teams

Effective communication skills

Good organisational skills

Ability to apply sound clinical judgement

Education

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

GMC registration with a licence to practise

Fellowship trained in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery

CCT in Trauma and Orthopaedics
