Qualifications

• On GMC's specialist register relevant to the post or a Specialist Registrar within 6 months of being admitted by the interview date.
• Fellowship in paediatric imaging is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive radiology service in conjunction with consultant colleagues.
• Liaise effectively with General Practitioners and community services.
• Participate in the governance process.
• Take part in continuing medical education activities.

Skills

Extensive experience in Paediatric imaging

Proficient in performing general adult and paediatric ultrasound

Able to report a range of CT imaging independently

Competent reporting plain x-ray, including NICU X-rays

Adult neuro and spine MR reporting experience

Paediatric and Neo-natal Neuro and MSK MR

Ability to perform and report MCUGs and barium swallows

Education

FRCR (or equivalent)

Other higher degree or diploma (e.g. MD, PhD)
