Job description
Overview

We’re looking for a full‑time, Band 6 Senior Paediatric Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate and deliver clinical research studies at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). The role will require working in the general paediatric research team.

Location & Working

Post is based at Oxford Road campus; cross‑working across MFT sites may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Key member of the paediatric clinical research team; manage, coordinate and facilitate clinical trial activities to deliver studies on time and target.
  • Provide specialist research and clinical care for participants and patients enrolling in a variety of research studies and projects.
  • Work across Research & Innovation to support research studies across MFT as service needs dictate.
  • Assist with management of trial protocols; ensure data collection is to the highest standards and facilitate the production of good quality research with a commitment to patient safety and wellbeing.
  • Participate fully in personal development and review process to achieve the knowledge and skills identified in the competency framework for this post.
Qualifications
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual capable of contributing to the development of research within paediatric research teams.
  • Experience in paediatric nephrology advantageous.
