Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting a Senior Paediatric Audiologist to support the Paediatric Audiology Service across North West London. You will diagnose, manage aural habilitation and supervise trainees in a busy, educational department.

The post involves clinical leadership, service development and maintaining UKAS and IQIPS accreditation through audits and quality improvement. Flexible working options and professional development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Specialist paediatric audiology expertise required for neonates and children.
• Experience in providing aural habilitation and parent counseling.
• Ability to supervise STP trainees and junior staff in Audiological techniques.
• Involvement in education and training requirements of the department.
• Experience with IQIPS accreditation processes and service development.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic audiology services for neonates and children on hospital site and in the community.
• Deliver aural habilitation and counselling to families about hearing loss and treatment options.
• Assist in day-to-day running of Paediatric Audiology Service and maintain health & safety standards.
• Provide clinical supervision to trainees and assist in exams for professional credentials.
• Contribute to continuing professional development and staff training.
• Participate in IQIPS accreditation activities and service quality initiatives.
