Overview

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Packaging Artwork er with experience in retail packaging artwork to join a successful and well established business. Working as part of a creative and supportive team, you will work on a diverse range of design concepts and artwork packaging for leading retailers both here in the UK and worldwide.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, and experience working with cutter guides, brand guidelines, and laying out back of pack information. You will be a key member of the design team, and will collaborate closely with other departments across the business too to create top quality print ready artwork.

Key responsibilities

• Creation of high quality, accurate product and packaging artwork files for their client base
• Collaborating with the wider design team and departments across the business to execute print-ready artwork based on approved creative concepts and design briefs
• Ensuring all artwork files are prepared with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, as well as meeting legal standards and adhering to brand guidelines
• Collaborating with the procurement team to address any technical issues or challenges that may arise during the printing and manufacturing process
• Conducting thorough quality checks on all artwork files to verify accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of print ready artwork files for production

Experience required

• Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Experience with 3D software a benefit but not essential
• Demonstrated experience in packaging design, with the ability to create cutter guides and mock up samples for testing
• Experience laying out back of pack information including legal requirements such as hazard warnings, barcodes, and regulatory compliance to ensure artwork meets industry standards
• Technical expertise with a good understanding of print production processes, colour management, and printing across different material, formats & finishes
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, diligence, and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Adaptive mindset to handle evolving requirements
• Enthusiasm for the field and eagerness to learn, a collaborative nature and team player
