Qualifications

• Experience underwriting Property & Casualty risks.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite renewal business across property, liability and combined classes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key broker partners across the region.
• Deliver profitable growth in line with business objectives.
• Provide technical support to junior team members and contribute to best practice standards.
• Assess risk and negotiate terms on new and existing accounts.
• Conduct regular broker visits across South West and Wales.
• Collaborate with both the senior management team and the wider team to support regional strategy.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Our client is seeking a talented insurance professional to support the growth and development of their Property, Liability and Combined portfolio across South West and Wales. This is a key opportunity to join a small high-performing team with exposure to both national and independent brokers and a varied book ranging from £5k-£250k GWP.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Underwrite renewal business across property, liability and combined classes
• Develop and maintain relationships with key broker partners across the region
• Deliver profitable growth in line with business objectives
• Provide technical support to junior team members and contribute to best practice standards

• Assess risk and negotiate terms on new and existing accounts
