Willis Towers Watson is seeking an experienced reserving actuary to join the UK non‑life reserving team in the ICT line of business. You will deliver market‑leading reserving solutions, work on capital and pricing topics, and collaborate with top thought leaders on client engagements and IP projects.

You will lead or contribute to UK/European/global initiatives, manage projects, and support business development while mentoring junior colleagues in a diverse, multi‑disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Non‑life insurance background with extensive reserving experience.
• Strong knowledge of London Market or Commercial Lines with reserving or mixed role.
• Ability to write client deliverables/reports clearly.
• Experience presenting results to senior colleagues or clients.
• Ability to see the "big picture" and leverage related practices to address client challenges.
• Proven project management, prioritisation, delegation and time management skills.
• Personable, approachable and enthusiastic team player.
• FIA or equivalent or experience in this role.
• Availability to travel to UK offices or client sites as needed.
• Experience with coding languages desirable.
• Interest in AI developments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high‑quality work for Lloyd’s managing agencies and client portfolios.
• Conduct independent reserve reviews and engage in related reserving offerings.
• Interpret data and present model results with clarity.
• Lead or contribute to UK/European/global thought leadership initiatives.
• Manage projects from conception through delivery, with client communications and junior staff oversight.
• Contribute to business development through client relationships and proposals.
• Support people and team development through mentoring and training.
• Collaborate with teams across capital, risk, pricing, portfolio management and underwriting.
