Burberry is seeking a Senior Product Developer to lead the end-to-end development of outerwear, translating creative vision into commercially viable products. You will work closely with Design, Product Engineering and our vendor network from concept through pre-production to deliver high-quality prototypes on time.

You will mentor teammates, drive critical path management, and ensure PLM data accuracy while safeguarding margins and brand integrity across collections.

Formación

• Strong technical knowledge of outerwear and related product categories.
• Experience partnering with Design teams to translate creative direction into technically achievable, high-quality product.
• Proven ability to manage vendor and factory relationships, providing clear briefs and navigating cost, quality, capacity and aesthetic considerations.
• Skilled in critical path management, with the ability to anticipate risks, prioritise effectively and guide collections through development to agreed deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and experience balancing product cost and margin considerations with creativity, quality and customer expectations.
• Clear and collaborative communication skills, with experience working across functions and using product-development systems such as PLM; working knowledge of Excel and InDesign is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the end-to-end product development process from concept to pre-production, delivering high-quality prototypes and samples to timelines and targets.
• Partner with Design as a technical specialist, ensuring feasibility while protecting creative intent.
• Build partnerships with vendors, assessing capabilities, costs and capacity for optimal outcomes.
• Apply strong outerwear technical expertise across product types, focusing on construction, performance and testing.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and cross-functional partners to resolve risks and prepare products for production.
• Lead and support the Product Development Assistant, maintaining accurate PLM data and contributing to team leadership.
