A regional healthcare provider is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Rushcliffe Community Therapy Service. The role involves delivering high-quality care to clients in their homes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include rehabilitation, clinical triage, and community visits. Required qualifications include a degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration. The position is part-time, offering a salary between £38,682 to £46,580, dependent on experience, with a flexible working pattern across seven days.
Join our Rushcliffe Community Therapy Service as an Occupational Therapist in the community. Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, assistant practitioners, support staff, district nurses, specialist nurses and social workers to deliver high‑quality care to service users in their own homes. The service is moving toward a 7‑day cover from 08:00 to 20:00 on a rota basis. Self‑rostering is encouraged.
Provide clinical triage, rehabilitation, falls management, palliative care support and facilitate timely discharges from our acute Trust partners. Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, liaising closely with health and social care colleagues to coordinate services, promote recovery and enable health, wellbeing and self‑care. The role involves community visits, cross‑site work and may require travel to patients’ homes.

Permanent, band 6, part‑time. Salary £38,682 to £46,580 per annum (pro rata for part‑time). Working pattern: part‑time with flexible 7‑day coverage. Reference number: 186‑1422‑25‑GH. Applicants must pay for their DBS check (£26.40 standard or £54.40 enhanced). Costs are deducted from salary over the first two months. Applicants are encouraged to enrol in the DBS Update Service (€£16 per year).
Disclosure and Barring Service check required. DBS (CRB) checks are consistent with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
