Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite SCM Functional Consultant to lead Oracle SCM workstreams and engage directly with senior stakeholders. You will deliver end-to-end implementations that create measurable business value across multiple industries within a highly skilled Oracle practice in the UK & Ireland.

You will mentor consultants, influence strategic decisions, and help clients optimise and modernise their supply chain operations through complex ERP transformations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience implementing Oracle E-Business Suite SCM solutions.
• Strong knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes and Oracle Manufacturing capabilities.
• Hands-on with BOM, Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle EBS SCM workstreams across implementation, upgrade, and optimisation projects.
• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and document business requirements.
• Design and configure Oracle E-Business Suite SCM solutions.
• Deliver functional analysis, testing, training, implementation, and post-go-live support.
• Create and maintain business process maps and solution documentation.
• Advise clients on best-practice processes and drive business transformation initiatives.
• Support project planning, risk management, and change management activities.
• Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer across project teams.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex functional and system challenges.

Are you an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite Supply Chain Consultant looking to take ownership of major transformation programmes?

At Version 1, you'll join one of the most established Oracle practices in the UK & Ireland, working alongside a highly skilled team of Oracle specialists delivering large-scale ERP and Supply Chain solutions for leading organisations across multiple industries.

We're looking for a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite SCM Functional Consultant to lead Oracle SCM workstreams, engage directly with senior stakeholders, and deliver end-to-end implementations that create measurable business value.

This is an opportunity to work on complex Oracle EBS programmes, influence strategic decisions, mentor consultants, and help clients optimise and modernise their supply chain operations.

What You'll Be Doing

As a senior member of our Oracle practice, you will:

• Lead Oracle EBS SCM workstreams across implementation, upgrade, and optimisation projects.
• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and document business requirements.
• Design and configure Oracle E-Business Suite Supply Chain solutions.
• Deliver functional analysis, testing, training, implementation, and post-go-live support.
• Create and maintain business process maps and solution documentation.
• Advise clients on best-practice processes and drive business transformation initiatives.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure successful project delivery.

What We're Looking For

You will have:

• Extensive experience implementing Oracle E-Business Suite Supply Chain Management solutions.
• Strong knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes and Oracle Manufacturing capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with modules such as:
  • Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Inventory Management
  • Purchasing
  • Order Management
  • Manufacturing
  • Quality
  • Engineering
• Experience delivering full project lifecycles using AIM and/or OUM methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills.
• Experience working directly with senior business leaders, programme sponsors, and IT executives.
• Strong workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, and solution design experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects.

You will have:

• Experience across additional Oracle EBS modules, particularly Financials.
• SQL knowledge and understanding of Oracle Supply Chain data structures.
• Functional and technical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting bespoke customisations and integrations.
• Oracle Cloud exposure is advantageous.
