JOB PURPOSE:

To work as a Senior Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Consultant in our growing team. You will have a minimum of 10 years of Oracle ERP Financials experience, including at least 5 full-cycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations. This is a client-facing, hands-on role requiring leadership in solution design and delivery.

You’ll work with dynamic clients across industries, helping them transform their finance operations through Oracle Cloud. The role is ideal for someone with deep functional knowledge, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as a Functional Consultant in Oracle ERP Cloud projects
• Provide functional leadership across modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM)
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Oracle Cloud solutions
• Own key solution components and lead functional workstreams
• Coordinate with stakeholders, delivery teams, support teams, and third parties, both external and internal
• Build strong relationships with client project teams
• Shape ERP assignments to achieve business benefits and value
• Set objectives, milestones, and timescales with project managers and clients
• Conduct impact analysis and discovery sessions to identify process pain points and opportunities for ERP Cloud enhancements
• Review quarterly patch releases and conduct impact analysis
• Create structured and accurate deliverables for configuration, data migration, testing, and other artifacts
• Design, build, test, and deliver Oracle ERP Cloud Finance solutions
• Support projects through user testing, go-live, and transition to support teams
• Coordinate with other consultants within broader programs
• Assist sales teams with pre-sales activities and tender responses

PERSON SPECIFICATION - KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / QUALITIES:

• MUST BE UK-BASED; the role cannot be performed from outside the UK
• MUST have eligibility for UK Government Security Clearance at SC Level
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Oracle Financials, with at least 5 full Oracle Cloud Financials implementations
• Proven experience leading parts of solutions in smaller engagements
• Strong hands-on experience with modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, including intercompany and taxes
• Deep understanding of finance processes, controls, and reporting
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with File-Based Data Import (FBDI) activities
• Organized and structured approach
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home
• Experience delivering full lifecycle Oracle ERP implementations
• Knowledge of application security, workflow approvals, and hierarchy configuration
• Experience with Project Accounting, Procurement, and Expenses modules
• Experience with other Oracle Cloud pillars:
• Oracle HCM (Core HR & Payroll)
• Oracle CX / Service Cloud
• Oracle EPM (Planning & Budgeting)
• Hands-on knowledge of modern Oracle tools:
• Oracle Digital Assistant
