Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Senior Operator / Production Supervisor on a fast-paced manufacturing site in Petersfield. The role is on a shift pattern with days or nights and offers progression opportunities into leadership positions.

You will lead a team on the shop floor, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. This temporary to permanent position provides exposure to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and a supportive leadership

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in fast-paced manufacturing or similar environments.
• Willingness to work shifts with days or nights.
• Proven ability to coach staff and train.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and guide your team to hit production and quality targets.
• Coach staff, support training and handle return-to-work conversations.
• Use OEE data and structured problem solving to improve performance.
• Champion Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance, quality documentation, and corrective actions.
• Support wider projects and help on the line when needed.

Pay + Shift

Choose the shift that suits your life —no rotating patterns:

• Days (7am- 3pm):£14.58 – Monday to Friday
• Nights (11pm–7am): £16.48/hr- Sunday to Thursday
