Job summary

Expro is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Support Engineer to oversee workshop, logistics, stores, purchasing, and certification activities. This role focuses on safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations, ensuring readiness to meet customer requirements through effective resource planning and inventory management.

You will lead maintenance, procurement, and certification processes while coordinating across locations to optimise resources and drive continuous improvement in safety

• Proven supervisory experience within workshop, logistics, stores, supply chain, or operational support functions.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Experience managing inventory, procurement, and equipment maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workshop, logistics, stores, purchasing, and certification activities to support operational demands.
• Liaise with Operational Supervisors to ensure equipment and resources are available when required.
• Support procurement activities and work with suppliers to achieve best value and service.
• Manage inventory levels, stock control, stocktaking, and cycle counting activities.
• Maintain and improve maintenance, stores, and purchasing procedures.
• Promote collaboration and resource sharing across locations and business units.
• Ensure equipment is maintained, serviced, certified, and fit for purpose.
• Lead incident reporting and investigations, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Identify and mitigate operational, safety, and environmental risks.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and procedures.

Overall Purpose of the Job

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
