We are now looking to recruit for a Senior Operations Manager to lead the Cannock site through a period of transformation and growth. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone with proven operational experience in warehousing, strong people management skills, and a passion for driving change and continuous improvement. You'll bring essential automation and supply chain expertise, confidently engage with stakeholders proactively align resources across multiple shifts. ✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
  • Lead daily operational activities to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full (OTIF), maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Drive a safety‑first culture by monitoring health and safety practices and ensuring all team members adhere to site standards.
  • Manage resources and performance by reviewing KPIs, optimising productivity, and taking corrective actions to meet budget and service targets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including unions, senior leadership, and customers to maintain effective communication and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and support your team through coaching, succession planning, and engagement activities to build a motivated and high‑performing workforce.

  • Experienced in operational leadership within warehousing, with a strong background in planning, resource management, and agency coordination.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, confident in building trust with customers and maintaining proactive communication to stay ahead of expectations.
  • People‑focused leader, capable of managing and developing teams across multiple shifts, ensuring alignment, accountability, and succession planning.
