Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an Operating Model Lead for a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract. The role is UK-wide with hybrid working, requires shaping the enterprise operating model and translating strategy into design choices across products, platforms and functions.

You will test hypotheses, develop guardrails and work with leadership to ensure coherent, scalable changes. The position offers a competitive salary (£78,098 - £91,880) and an emphasis on delivering value while maintaining alignment

Qualifications

• Deep experience shaping and evolving operating models across large organisations.
• Strong understanding of products, platforms, governance and funding interactions.
• High levels of curiosity with external benchmarking and perspective.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target operating model with a clear forward-looking horizon.
• Translate strategy into enterprise design choices across products, platforms and functions.
• Anticipate how customer expectations, technology and competition will reshape the organisation.
• Frame and test hypotheses on how operating model changes can improve pace and value release.
• Develop and maintain design principles, guardrails and decision frameworks.
• Bring external insight and benchmarks to challenge and validate direction.
• Frame strategic options, trade-offs and implications for executive decision.
• Track and assess changes across the organisation, including those outside the immediate team.
• Identify where changes may create unintended consequences and intervene to protect coherence.
