Job summary

A prominent healthcare provider in London is seeking a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join their Pharmacy Team. The role is focused on delivering high-quality oncology pharmacy services within an established hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, particularly in oncology, and will be responsible for managing pharmacy services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient access to advanced treatments. Qualifications

  • Essential MPharm or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the GPhC is mandatory.
  • Must have a postgraduate diploma or equivalent in clinical pharmacy.
  • Experience delivering clinical pharmacy services to wards is essential.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Oncology post-registration.
  • Practical experience in Aseptic Production and GMP is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient-centric systemic anti-cancer pharmacy service.
  • Manage and develop the pharmacy service at the hospital.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safe access to treatments.

Skills

MPharm or equivalent
Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Experience in delivering a clinical pharmacy service
Previous experience of working in Oncology
Practical experience in Aseptic Production Unit & GMP
Previous experience of managing staff
Independent Prescriber qualification
Experience of delivering education & training
Mosaiq, BD Cato, Meditech knowledge

Education

Post graduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy
