South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting an Old Age Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Liaison Psychiatry service covering Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Calderdale Royal Hospital. The post is full time with 10 programmed activities per week plus on-call duties, aligning with the £123,672–£150,569 consultant pay scale.

Interviews are scheduled for early December 2026, with relocation support potentially available.

Qualificações

• MB BS or equivalent medical qualification and GMC registration.
• Higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management.
• Additional clinical qualifications.
• Ability to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and lead a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical leadership to the liaison psychiatry service.
• Work with acute and mental health trusts to integrate psychiatry into acute medical care.
• Cover Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Calderdale Royal Hospital.
• Engage in teaching, audits and service improvement.
