Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent with GMC registration.
• GMC Specialist Register in General Psychiatry or eligible within six months of CCT.
• Approved Clinician status or eligible for it.
• MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical assessment, diagnosis and formulation for older adults with psychiatric conditions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Community Mental Health Team.
• Collaborate with GP/hospital colleagues for physical health care.
• Lead teaching, audit and SPA activities within the team.
• Supervise junior medical staff and Medical students on placement.
