Job summary

Inch Cape Offshore Limited in Montrose is seeking a Foundation Engineer to oversee the structural integrity and lifecycle management of offshore wind turbine foundations during operations.

You will lead asset integrity, risk-based inspection strategies, and collaborate with O&M teams to ensure alignment with standards and ALARP principles.

Desirable Chartered status and experience with monopiles, jackets, and subsea inspection are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Structural, Offshore or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in offshore wind foundations or offshore structures.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, fatigue and marine environments.
• Experience in asset integrity or O&M engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrity management of offshore foundations (monopiles & jackets).
• Develop and implement risk-based inspection strategies.
• Analyse structural performance considering fatigue, corrosion, scour and environmental loading.
• Support remaining life assessments and life extension strategies.
• Review inspection data (ROV, seabed surveys, NDT) and define remedial actions.
• Lead or support root-cause investigations for structural anomalies or failures.
• Define and optimise planned and corrective maintenance programmes for foundations.
