A fantastic opportunity has come up to join our dynamic quality team as a Senior QAE Officer. This is a key role undertaking all aspects of quality assurance and enhancement, including creating and enhancing our policy and regulatory environments, developing and engaging academic staff's understanding of the quality landscape as well as contributing to smooth running of assessment boards. You will participate in academic approval events and take part in panels (academic integrity, disciplinary and/or health, wellbeing and support for study). A key responsibility of the role is to develop and implement the University's quality and governance process in relation to academic partnerships. This may include due diligence in relation to new partnerships, and review of existing partnerships, managing curricular approval, review and cessation processes. You will ensure effective oversight of the University's academic partnerships portfolio through the academic governance structure (including acting as Secretary to the Partnership Quality Committee).
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a sound knowledge of or experience in an HE environment or related field. You will be an effective communicator and committed to providing a high level of customer service. Alongside these key skills you will have the ability to prioritise a busy workload and to work effectively to deadlines, without direct supervision.

This is a full‑time, 35 hours a week position across Monday‑Friday. The closing date for the position is Sunday 11 January 2026. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 27 January 2026.
