A local government authority in Nottingham is seeking a candidate to support Traffic Management and Moving Traffic Enforcement. The ideal applicant will have experience with ANPR/CCTV enforcement, strong communication skills, and be able to work with IT systems for processing contraventions. This permanent position offers a competitive salary and aims to improve transportation services in Nottingham.

Working Hours: 37 Hours x 1 post available

Salary: Starting Salary is £36,363 (Level 1) rising to £39,152 (Level 4) per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

The role is to support the Head of Service and Service Manager for Traffic Management and Moving Traffic Enforcement to deliver an excellent customer-focused Moving Traffic Enforcement service in an efficient, effective and economic manner, whilst adhering to Corporate, Departmental and Government priorities. The role will supervise and undertake Moving Traffic Enforcement and Traffic Management activities in accordance with departmental and service area processes to deliver the Council’s Transportation priorities. To ensure that activities comply with statutory obligations placed on the Authority by legislation and the financial regulations of the City Council. You will be required to complete a full Security Industry Approved (SIA) license for this role.
