Job summary

DAVID LEWIS CENTRE is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the multi-disciplinary team providing specialist services to children and adults at the David Lewis School, College and Residential Services. The role supports assessments and treatments with on-site facilities for a broad range of independence skills.

The successful candidate will hold HCPC registration, ideally RCOT membership, and demonstrate strong communication and organisational abilities within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy Degree Qualification (or equivalent) and HCPC Registration.
• Ideally be a Registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills and will be a strong team player with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist occupational therapy assessments and treatments for a caseload of children and adults.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team at the David Lewis School, College and Residential Services.
• Contribute to ongoing development of the Occupational Therapy service to meet client needs.
• Utilise on-site facilities to assess and improve independence across social, communication, education and life skills.
• Support regular supervision, training and appraisal processes.
