Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust seeks a senior occupational therapist to lead clinical practice within a skilled multi-disciplinary team. You will manage complex caseloads, develop occupational formulations and deliver recovery-focused interventions in a supportive environment.

The role includes supervision of junior staff and students, leading approved quality improvement projects and promoting occupational therapy across the service.

Qualifications

• Recognised occupational therapy professional qualification.
• HCPC registration.
• Full, valid UK driving licence and access to a car for business use (unless disabled).

Responsabilités

• Provide OT contribution within a multi-disciplinary service aligned to service user needs.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate interventions for identified service users.
• Manage a defined caseload using recovery-focused practice.
• Supervise junior staff and students.
• Analyse assessment information to formulate function, strengths and needs.
• Collaborate with service users and carers to set goals and plans balancing risk, choice and independence.
• Monitor and modify interventions to improve outcomes.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and promote best practice per NICE and standards.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and service developments.
