Senior Occupational Health Advisor - Rosyth, Scotland

Hours: 22.5 per week (3 days, 7.5 hours/day, Monday-Thursday)

Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Location: Rosyth

Amber Mace is supporting an OH Provider looking for an experienced Senior OH Advisor to be based at their client's site in Rosyth. This is a hands‑on, senior role where you will manage a small team while delivering a high-quality OH service across the site.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the Occupational Health Service, carrying out health surveillance, fitness‑for‑work assessments, case management, and providing clinical supervision. You will also support the development of the team, lead on health promotion initiatives, and ensure services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a small team (1 OH Technician, 1 OH Nurse, 1 Administrator).
  • Carry out health surveillance, audiometry, spirometry, and fitness‑for‑work assessments.
  • Undertake case management and produce clear, high‑quality advice reports.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to less experienced team members.
  • Advise managers and employees on occupational health matters and workplace wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with NMC guidance.
  • Lead projects and health promotion initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Support team development through appraisals, training, and mentoring.
