Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics & Gynaecology based at Sutton-in-Ashfield. The post is 12 months fixed term with on-call involvement and a pro rata salary.

The role includes contributing to the teaching and training of medical students and trainees, supporting the department's clinical governance and CPD activities, and covering for colleagues during leave as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Involvement in teaching medical students and trainees.
• Willingness to participate in the on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Provision of a service to Sherwood Forest Hospitals with responsibility for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness, and proper functioning of the department.
• Contribute towards teaching and training of medical students.
• Cover for colleagues' annual leave and other authorised absences.
• Carrying out teaching duties and contributing to undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education activity.
• Participating in medical audit and CPD; contribute to Quality Improvement within the department and across the Trust.
