The postholder will promote high standards of practice, accountability and continuous improvement, strengthening governance and assurance and translating learning from incidents, audits and user experience into clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior professional nursing leadership across the Adult Community Services Division.
• Strengthen clinical governance, using audit, benchmarking and quality-improvement approaches to improve safety, effectiveness and quality of care.
• Lead and support quality improvement, service development and learning from incidents, audits and feedback.
• deputise for the Head of Nursing as required and represent the Division at Trust and system forums.
